440 or 432 Hertz—what's the difference?

A 440 Hz handpan meets international standards: it has a bright, resonant tone, making it perfect for playing with other musicians or on stage.
A 432 Hz handpan produces a softer, rounder sound, often described as more enveloping, and is highly prized for meditation, yoga, or sound healing. Neither is superior to the other; it all depends on how you plan to use it.

Do you have to be a musician to play the handpan?
No. The handpan is designed so that every note sounds in tune, no matter the order in which they are played. It’s impossible to play a wrong note. It’s the perfect instrument for both beginners and experienced musicians.
Which line should I choose to get started?
D minor (Kurd) is the most accessible scale: it has a meditative sound and harmonious chords, making it perfect for relaxation. C major is better suited to more melodic pieces.
How long does delivery take?
7 to 10 business days within Europe, with a tracking number. Shipped with insurance in specialized padded packaging designed for musical instruments.
Can I try it before I buy it?
Not physically, but we provide audio samples on each product page. Our customers also have 30 days to return their instrument for free if it doesn't suit them.
