The Elysium series stands for the deep, velvety sound of nitrided steel. Where stainless steel sounds bright and brilliant, nitrided steel responds warmer, rounder, and more intimate. Available in blue or gold, with 9, 10, or 12 notes in D-minor.

Nitrided steel - the warmer sound character

Nitriding involves enriching the steel surface with nitrogen in a high-temperature process. The result: a significantly harder, rust-protected surface and a sound with more body and shorter, focused sustain. Many experienced players prefer precisely this character.

D-minor - open and universal

Blue or Gold - two characters

The coloring is created directly during the nitriding process; it is not a paint and will not chip. Blue appears calm and restrained, gold warm and present. Both variants are acoustically identical.

What matters is not which scale looks best on paper, but which one moves you when you listen. Minor tunings usually feel warm and inward-looking, major tunings more open and bright.
