This model combines both worlds: the tonal brilliance of stainless steel and the warmth of nitrided steel in a single sound body. The result is a tone with a bright attack and a warm decay. D-minor, with 9, 10, or 12 notes.
The upper and lower shells are made of different steels. The attack sounds clear and present, while the decay is soft and round. A character that a single material cannot achieve.
This tuning works in almost any context: solo, in a group, in recordings. All models in our D-Minor Handpan collection.
Each tone field is handcrafted and inspected before shipping. Slight optical differences between two instruments are normal and intended.
Accessories included at no extra charge. You unpack and can play immediately.
Handmade: slight deviations in size, color tone and surface are possible and a sign of genuine craftsmanship.
Each instrument is re-tuned by hand and individually sound-tested before shipping. Shipping within 24 hours, insured and with tracking. 30-day returns. For questions about selection, you can reach us before and after your purchase.
What matters is not which scale looks best on paper, but which one moves you when you listen. Minor tunings usually feel warm and inward-looking, major tunings more open and bright. So take your time and listen to the sound sample of the model you like. If you want to play with other instruments, 440 Hz is the simplest choice.
Yes, within 30 days of delivery. Our returns and refunds policy explains how it works and which conditions apply.

Every handpan is hand-hammered, tuned note by note by ear and sound-checked before dispatch. As a Swiss company, we stand for care and reliability - audible from the very first strike.

On a handpan there are no wrong notes - no sheet music, no prior knowledge. One strike, and the whirl of thoughts slows down.
